Jewelry Charity Ball at the «ESTET»


Jewelry Charity Ball on September 30 was held in all its glory in the banquet hall of the Guild of Russian Jewelers for the third time, staggering guests by its sophistication style and continuing the best traditions of Russian culture.

Organizers – Association «Guild of Jewelers of Russia» and the Development Fund of the jeweler's art in Russia. The general partners of the ball – media holding RESTEC JUNWEX and the club «Russian Jewelery Trade».

For two consecutive years the organizers favored the Viennese Ball tradition, but this time the guests had a wonderful opportunity to experience the atmosphere of Russian ball, which was possible with the participation of the public regional organization «Planet «The Golden Club». Masters of ceremonies – a president of the company «Planet «The Gold Club» Elena Zhukova and a project manager of «We can be proud of» Sergei Matveev – made guests not only to contemplate but also learn a few historical figures of the most beautiful dances. Meanwhile, in a specially decorated area of a ballroom, was going on a workshop «What the fan will tell us» and a historical photo studio where everyone could make memorable pictures in the historic surroundings of the 19th century.

The chairman of the board of the Association «Guild of Jewelers of Russia» Gagik Gevorgyan, President of the Foundation of the jeweler's art in Russia and the head of the Charity Jewelry Ball Galina Ananyina and CEO of media company «RESTEC JUNWEX» Valerii Budnyi Inaugurated the ball with a welcoming speech.

Guest of honor at the ball, who traditionally visited the event, was a great-grandson of Emperor Alexander III – Pavel E. Kulikovskii. Managing director of Australian and New Zealand Russian Orthodox Church Archpriest Mikhail Protopopov also visited Jewelry Charity Ball.

Among the guests of the Ball were representatives from Office of the President of the Russian Federation, the State Duma, the Department of Culture of the Government of Moscow, Gokhran Russia, Assay Office, Alrosa. Finally, Jewelry Ball gathered the cream of the Russian jewelry community, representatives of science and culture.

An important part of the ball were jewelry. As part of the solemn demonstration of jewelry Easter eggs made in the tradition of Faberge by students. From P. Ovchinnikov College and the College. In addition, the guests saw an unusual show of Russia's family brand Gevorkyan – fashion jewelery was shown in the defile format by representatives of jewelery trade, women leaders, jewelry chains, jewelry magazines and publishers (partner of the show – the school of art grease-paint and makeup «Estelle Shine»).

This year the Charity Jewelry Ball was dedicated to several significant dates of the history of jewelry and the whole history of Russia. It's 315 years from the establishment of Peter I Assay Office, 185 years since the birth of the outstanding Russian jeweler Pavel Ovchinnikov, the 150th anniversary of the assigning P. Ovchinnikov company title of a Supplier of the Imperial Household, 130 years from the date of issue of the first Easter eggs by Faberge, 70 Years of Victory the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the Year of Literature in Russia, 45 years since the establishment of the experimental group of jewelers in the Gokhran.

In the charity lottery, which is an integral part of the Ball, participated winners of the contest «Mrs Russia» and «Mrs. Moscow». Collected funds would go for establishing nominal annual scholarships for the best students of colleges of Faberge and P. Ovchinnikov. Each of those schools were solemnly handed certificates nominal value of 50 000 rubles each.

The evening ended with the tradition birthday cake and pop-jazz program.
