Participants of the business mission visited the diamond capital of Russia

September 4, participants of the business mission of the International club “Business Partnership” and the Business club “Women of future Russia” visited the diamond capital of Russia – the Mirny city. As a part of the “Diamond Week” the delegation had a unique opportunity to see the famous quarry at kimberlite pipe “Mir”, visit the Museum of kimberlites, which holds the rare rock samples, and learn about the process of sorting mined diamonds.

Participants of the business mission were able to go along the itinerary “Diamond Way” including all the most interesting places at the Mirny city and it’s sights. Guests visited the Holy Trinity Church, architectural and memorial complex “Viljujsky ring”, created in memory of the discoverers of the diamond fields, learn about the history of dimond-mines at the Historical Museum of Alrosa's production.
Members of the club had a rare opportunity to see famous quarry “Mir” from the lookout and go underground into an operating mine “International”.

During the visit, members of the club met with representatives of administrative structures and business community of “diamond capital of Russia”. Business mission’s participants, interested in establishing business relations, were given the opportunity to hold negotiations, exchange contacts and ideas on possible cooperation.



Members of the club in cooperation with the Ministry of entrepreneurship and the development of tourism of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) planned the “contacts exchange” for September 5. The event will be held in Yakutsk, in the conference hall of the Lena United River Shipping Company. Representatives of a business community of Yakutia, executive agencies and non-governmental organizations of the republic had been invited. As part of the event, there is going to be a presentation of the opportunities of the business club and the participants’ projects.
